"Makes keeping track of notes way easier"
I’ve been using Notability to keep my notes from turning into a total mess, and it’s been really helpful. The search is probably my favorite part because I can usually find old notes even when I have no idea where I saved them... which happens a lot. The folders and dividers are easy to figure out too. It’s not flawless all the time, but overall it saves me a ton of time, so..

"Good for quick notes, but I’m less sure about it now"
It works mostly fine for jotting down notes, and at first I thought it was solid. Lately, though, I’ve run into a few little issues that make me hesitate to fully rely on it. It’s still useful, but I don’t trust it quite as much as I did in the beginning

"Makes PDFs way easier to deal with"
I’ve been using Notability mainly for marking up PDFs, and it’s been really useful. I think I started using it sometime last semester, or maybe it was over the summer, I can’t totally remember, but it’s become my go-to for reading documents. Highlighting, jotting notes in the margins, and circling important parts all feel simple. The only thing is that syncing can be a little slow sometimes, at least for me. Still, overall it makes dealing with PDFs a lot less frustrating.

"Sync is fine, but I’m not sold on the backups"
The sync works here and there, so that part is okay, I guess. But the backups don’t feel very reliable, and I’m getting a little impatient having to wonder if my stuff is actually safe or not

"I’ve been using it on my iPad..."
I’ve been using it on my iPad for a while now, and it’s been really reliable. It hasn’t crashed on me, and my notes open quickly every time, which makes it feel easy to trust for everyday use.

"Seems to work well across my devices"
I wasn’t totally sure at first, but it’s been syncing just fine between my iPad, Mac, and phone. Haven’t really had to mess with anything, which is nice.

"I use Notability pretty much every day..."
I use Notability pretty much every day for taking notes, and overall it works really well. The price isn’t terrible, especially if you use it a lot, but I do still miss when it was a one-time purchase. The subscription makes sense in some ways, but I wish the app had clearer instructions for certain features because I’ve had to figure a few things out on my own...

"Sharing is decent, but exporting feels a bit limited"
I’ve been using this to share stuff with my sister, and it works fine overall, but it can take a few more taps than I’d like. Exports are okay too, just not as flexible as I was hoping.

"Audio is useful, but playback can be a bit 😅"
I mostly use Notability for recording lectures and taking notes, and the audio feature is definitely helpful. The recordings are usually clear enough, which is great, but playback can get kind of annoying sometimes — it’ll glitch or jump around a bit. I do like when the audio syncs with my notes properly, because that part is super useful! Just wish it worked more consistently, especially for the price...

"Writing on it just feels easy"
I’ve been using notability for class mostly with my stylus, and the handwriting feels really nice. It’s smooth, kind of close to writing on paper, which I didn’t expect to notice that much. Also, I haven’t had any weird lag so far, and my notes actually come out looking clean. The palm rejection has been solid too, which is a big deal because I’m always resting my hand on the screen. Anyway, for taking notes in class, it just makes the whole thing easier.
